Wednesday Whimsy! The Map of Los Angeles By John Mulaney Via Netflix Is A Joke.

This edition of Wednesday Whimsy is a yummy, hot, and fun one for all the true Los Angeles natives out there.

Not those who’ve moved in, lived the last 10, 20, 100 years. It doesn’t matter how long. You cannot and will not make up a false definition for the word native. Stop colonizing what’s not yours. Be who you are. Stop making up sh. And if you ain’t sh, whose fault is that?

This one’s for those whose actual real-life history and upbringing was/is in Los Angeles. And we cannot concur more with the cutie brainiac, master comedian John Mulaney.

We’re throwing it back to one year ago circa 2024, to his inaugural debut episode of the show, John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA. Which later had to be rebranded to “Everybody’s Live”—thanks to the current climate of culture vultures and bandwagon followers moving out of L.A. and chasing whatever’s top 10 trendy, mindless, generic, mediocre, monkey-see-monkey-do path.

They’ll be back. They always do. Remember: “First they watch. Then they hate. Then they copy.” A tale as old as time.

With that being said, scope out the 6-episode live show eventJohn Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s In LA—where John kicks off Episode 1 with a quick and hilarious history lesson on the geography of the City of Angels.

Press play on this impeccable clip: “Look, The Map of Los Angeles” by John Mulaney via Netflix Is A Joke.
