Starring cutie patootie Miles Heizer, the upcoming Netflix series Boots follows a closeted teen who enlists in the Marines during the 1990s—a time when serving openly was illegal. Heizer plays Cameron Cope, a young man navigating identity, friendship, and boot camp in a world built to suppress who he is.
Joining him is the legendary Vera Farmiga, portraying Cameron’s narcissistic mother, Barbara. Together, they lead this comedic drama inspired by Greg Cope White’s memoir, The Pink Marine. Expect sharp wit, emotional depth, and a whole lot of heart.
