Warren Beatty ‘checkmates’ all fashion contenders during the late 1960’s with this impeccable checkered suit. The exact year was 1968 and Warren was everywhere at the time because of the success of “Bonnie and Clyde”, a film which co-starred the equally breathtaking and striking Faye Dunaway.
The checkered suit parred along with a black turtleneck is right up my alley kiddas. Having worn on multiple occasions such similar looks, just substituting the checks with maybe a plaid or houndstooth textile finish. Haper’s Bazaar magazine released this issue on February of 1968 and you can get bet your petticoat bottom it was smashing edition.
