St. Vincent has quickly returned to creating new music with a forthcoming self titled album due out February 25th and the second single accompanied with a video “Digital Witness” is a funky dance track about living life through the television screen.
Directed by Chino Moya the perfectly sterile video is fashion meets architecture that reminds of german electronic group Kraftwerk or a medically induced dream. The sound is best described by lead singer Annie Clark quoted as “I wanted to make a party record you could play at a funeral.”
