It’s Santigold puppet master in the latest singe “Banshee” from the ItsNotYouItsMe favorite. The shadow play video is directed by photographer Ari Marcopoulos and artst Kara Walker from a front row meeting at a Gucci runway show, Santi explains – “It was the perfect double date,” Santigold remembers. “We hung out all night, and at the end of the evening, they said, ‘Let’s do a video together! We have an idea!’ and Kara snapped a silhouette photo of me in the dark as I stepped into my cab.”
