Coachella has unleashed its 2026 lineup, and it’s clear—the festival is leaning harder into Pop and Indie Rock/Alt this year, marking a return to its original sonic roots.
The princess of pop Sabrina Carpenter, alongside Justin Bieber and Karol G, have been announced as headliners. It’s a historic moment with all three representing pop music, and Karol G making history as the first Latina solo headliner.
The festival will take place over two weekends: April 10–12 and April 17–19, 2026, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
This year’s lineup reflects a sonic shift—less EDM-heavy, more melodic, more alt, more pop. And that’s not a detour—it’s a return. Coachella’s earliest years were defined by indie rock, alternative, and genre-blending acts, with artists like Beck, Björk, and The Strokes setting the tone. The 2026 roster echoes that spirit, with featured artists including:
- Wet Leg – post-punk freshness
- Interpol – moody alt icons (and yes, we still miss Carlos D)
- Iggy Pop – punk legend still bringing fire
- Turnstile – hardcore with a melodic twist
- The xx – atmospheric and intimate
- Ethel Cain – haunting Americana meets dream pop
Passes go on sale Friday, September 19 at 11 a.m. PT, with early access for previous attendees starting Thursday, September 18.
