Groundbreaking Swedish singer Robyn has spilled her planned ‘mini album releases’ for 2010. The first album entitled ‘Body Talk 1’ will contain eight songs and the disc’s first tune “Dancing On My Own”. Let me tell yah kiddas, hearing the first few seconds of it sounds very reminiscent of the work Robyn covered on ‘‘Royksopp’s‘, ‘The Girl and the Robot’ which featured lead vocals by Robyn. Sounds brilliant! Modern European dance musique at its finest. This album is expected to be unleashed on June 7. “It’s been 5 years since ‘Robyn’ and I didn’t want to wait with a release until they are all recorded, so I decided to start putting them out right away,” Robyn said while speaking to BBC. After revealing her plans on releasing an upcoming three-parter album (separate releases in spring, summer and fall/winter), Robyn appeared on Swedish program Dom Kallar Oss Artister and gave even further insight into her upcoming music. Glimpses of new tunes were played, Robyn shimmy and shakes some and teven got a parking violation during the episode! Awe, haha.
