Stephanie Spruill — renowned vocalist, celebrated for her powerful voice and performances — tragically lost her home in the inferno, she announced today on Instagram.
We ache for Stephanie and the thousands who have lost their homes in these fires, aggravated by climate change.
While material possessions can be replaced, the emotional toll of such a loss is immeasurable.
Spruill, best known as a backup vocalist for Michael Jackson and countless sessions across pop, R&B, and jazz, has also worked as a vocal coach in LA. Her home studio — where she trained rising singers — was among the losses. She continues to perform and mentor, with recent credits including live tributes and studio collaborations.
