A special Video Mix premiere of “Techno Cumbia” featuring Selena’s live performances debuted this evening at 8PM ET on Selena’s OFFICIAL YouTube channel.

But while we celebrate this moment, we can’t help but wish her estate—run by her father—did a better job restoring and uploading content. Too many legends like Michael Jackson and Aaliyah have entire bodies of work sitting on shelves gathering dust. When non-creatives make creative decisions, this is what happens: missed opportunities, delayed releases, and a legacy that deserves far more care and visibility.

Selena’s visuals, voice, and vibrancy deserve to be seen and heard in full—restored, remastered, and released with the reverence they command.
