It has been confirmed that Reese Witherspoon will take on the biopic of the late Jazz/Pop singer Peggy Lee.

The 35-year-old actress will team up with Marc Platt  who she worked with on Legally Blonde to produce a biopic about the late jazz singer’s life, according to Variety. Nora Ephron, director of Julie & Julia will write the screenplay and is also confirmed  to direct.
