Piers Morgan Takes Over Larry King’s CNN Time Slot

It’s been announced who will fill the legendary suspenders of Larry King’s primetime slot on CNN…*drum rolls*…it will be British television host Piers Morgan! It is said that the journalist will host a “candid, in-depth newsmaker interview program” starting in January.

Piers released a statement saying, “I have watched Larry King Live for much of the last 25 years, and dreamed of one day filling the legendary suspenders of the man I consider to be the greatest TV interviewer of them all,”.

Here’s a little trivia fact: “Larry hosted Larry King Live beginning back in 1985 and announced over the summer that he’d end his nightly show but continue to work at CNN.”
