his week’s Latin Grammys 2025 was unfortunately a sleep fest. If it weren’t for the likes of Gloria and Nathy, there’d be sadly nothing else to report that was quality and worthy of coverage.
Like ALL award shows though — whether it’s BET, MTV, Golden Globes, Emmys, Oscars, etc-etc — some years hit and others simply miss the mark.
Estefan, celebrating her 45-year career, teamed with Peluso on a fiery medley that fused Miami Sound Machine classics with Peluso’s Latin-urban edge. The collab was one of the few moments critics and fans agreed felt alive. Peluso, fresh off her 2024 Griselda soundtrack cut, continues to cement her place as a generational force.
We, as always, have higher hopes and are looking for that musical silver lining in 2026!
