A sad day on Monday in New York City as renowned designer Oscar De La Renta is laid to rest amongst a crowd of famous and important faces.
Designer Oscar de la Renta was a legend in the American fashion industry, having spent decades making women look beautiful in his fantastic creations. So naturally, many of those women — along with his peers in the industry — made time to attend his private memorial held at St. Ignatius Loyola Church in New York City on Monday morning.

Attendees weren’t just limited to the fashion pack; Diane Sawyer, Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush were also among guests.
Mr. de la Renta passed away at age 82, surrounded by his loved ones at home.
