Oprah Winfrey along with True Blood creator Alan Ball are teaming up to make an HBO movie. The two will create a film based on thee nonfiction novel ‘The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks’. According to the AP, the story, written by Rebecca Skloot, is “the true account of an African-American woman who died of cervical cancer in the 1950s and the nonconsensual use of her tumor for medical exploration use after her death.”
