Gloria Estefan returns to the music scene with a new single entitled, “La Vecina (No Sé Na’)” or The Neighbor (I Don’t Know Anything).”
“La Vecina (No Sé Na’)” was directed by Gloria Estefan herself n El Cuartelito, the apartment complex where Gloria and her mother first lived after arriving from Cuba.
The theme and song’s lyrics revolve all around those pesky neighbors who can never mind their own business. It’s a combo case of mental instability and having no life.
Gossiping and passing around incorrect and false information. As a desperate attempt to be in the mix. Pretending to know when they will never know. Which is the truth. Btw a lot of times it’s your very own family and/or coworkers.
