Michael Jackson is receiving a strange honor in Taiwan — immortalization via scarecrow. Salesman Lee Ping-hsing thought the King of Pop would do the trick against some pesky birds, so he built a few MJ scarecrows to get them to beat it.
Ping-hsing couldn’t think of anyone else more fit for the job. “During harvest, my dad would go to the fields every day to chase away the birds,” Ping-hsing told CBS. “And I thought since Michael is good at ‘grabbing his bird,’ I’d invite Michael to grab birds in our fields.”
