Jack White ripped through Saturday Night Live to strum to electric guitar to his singles “Over And Over” and preferred favorite  “Connected By Love”. Assisted by a gospel choir, an organ, and badass backing musicians, Jack followed through the high energy performances with his signature song-building intensity.

Fun rock trivia. Jack played with fellow alternative experimental queen St. Vincent’s signature Ernie Ball Music Man axe during the performance, which St.Vincent herself Instagrammed.

White also made an adorable appearance in a sketch! Dig it all out right below:
