It’s Here! Sabrina Carpenter’s New Album & So Is Her 2nd Video Single “Tears.”

Sabrina Carpenter’s brand sparkling, fresh-out-the-oven album, Man’s Best Friend, is finally here.

Like if that wasn’t enough—her second official music video single is a track entitled “Tears,” featuring none other than the magnetic Colman Domingo.

A multi-costumed, theatrical extravaganza video. Just as Sabrina usually orders. Her signature in “Tears” boasts spectacle, delivering colorful aesthetics and her unmistakably charming, cheeky stage persona.

Directed by Bardia Zeinali (“Please Please Please”), the “Tears” video is a campy, chaotic delight. It opens with Sabrina waking from a car crash in a pale blue skirt suit and sun hat, only to stumble into a surreal house filled with drag divas, glitter-drenched dance breaks, and Colman Domingo in full Dr. Frank-N-Furter-inspired regalia. From pole dancing in a cornfield to stabbing a man with a stiletto (yes, really), Sabrina’s visual storytelling is as bold and biting as her lyrics.

Although we’re not fans of all Colman Domingo’s work, in this role he isn’t doing too much—which we like. His presence adds just enough theatrical flair without overshadowing Sabrina’s vision. He’s a supporting character in her world, not a distraction from it.

The track itself is a disco-laced ode to the bare minimum, with lines like: “I get wet at the thought of you / Being a responsible guy / Treating me like you’re supposed to do / Tears run down my thighs.”

It’s cheeky. It’s theatrical. It’s Carpenter at her most unapologetic.

The album Man’s Best Friend—her seventh studio release—was co-produced by Sabrina alongside Jack Antonoff and John Ryan, and is packed with 12 tracks, 10 of which are explicitly labeled. From “Manchild” to “Go Go Juice,” the record is a full-bodied pop feast that refuses to play nice. Sabrina herself has said the album is “not for any pearl-clutchers,”

Drop your thoughts in the comments below. Did you catch all the Rocky Horror nods? Are you living for the disco drama and heel-stabbing theatrics? We’re here for every glitter-drenched twist and unapologetic turn. Kidda’s, sound off—did this one make you cry tears of joy or just tears of “finally”?
