“Madison Li recently graduated BFA Fashion Design at Parsons the New School for Design as a Designer of the Year 2016 Menswear finalist. In his thesis collection he wanted to prompt our society to enter an era that celebrates and embraces complexity and multifacetedness instead of compartmentalizing and dumbing things down. To visualize the statement he chose Cubist art as a visual reference, and created 3D sketches that can be turned into flat patterns in Rhino, a 3D modeling program often used in architecture and product design.
