Introducing Clarissa Arocena

“Clarissa Arocena is a recent graduate of North Carolina State University. Her final senior collection titled “I Live in My Head” was inspired by the naive spirit of British gangsters, the Kray Twins, and outsider artists, Henry Darger and Bill Traylor. It dives into the reclusive minds and process of these artists as well as the childish mental state that is present in their craft.
