The brand sparkling new and final trailer for Disney’s upcoming animated sequel Zootopia 2 has officially dropped—and it’s serving up a fresh anthem titled “Zoo”, co-written and performed by the mighty one-of-one Shakira, alongside that guitar-slinging dude Ed Sheeran.
Shakira returns as the voice of Gazelle, Zootopia’s beloved pop star and activist, bringing her signature flair and vocal power to the sequel’s soundtrack. “Zoo” is poised to follow in the footsteps of her original hit “Try Everything”, which became a global sensation in the first film. You can preview the new track in Zoo (From “Zootopia 2”) (Preview) and watch her full performance in Shakira – ZOO (Froom Zootopia 2).
The confirmed voice cast for Zootopia 2 includes returning artisans Ginnifer Goodwin (Judy Hopps) and Jason Bateman (Nick Wilde), joined by new additions Ke Huy Quan as the mysterious pit viper Gary De’Snake, Quinta Brunson as Dr. Fuzzby, and Macaulay Culkin as part of the Lynxley family. The trailer teases a deeper dive into Zootopia’s hidden reptile world and a new case that’ll test Judy and Nick’s partnership like never before.
