“Inspired by as simple a matter as a dazzling number of piles of instant noodles left in the kitchen, “MAMA, I Love You” is an ingenuous, unconditional love of dried noodle blocks, seasoning oils, flavoring powders, a piquant favor and, of course, monosodium glutamate. The color palettes through the collection are mostly the resemblance of instant noodles’ colorful packages and Gochujang reddish paste with essential hues like black and white. Common silhouettes are that of an oversized boxy short-sleeve tee and sweater with embroidered patches and tongue-in-cheek graphic prints and embossed screens.
