Twinless: Dylan O’Brien Stars in Darkly Delightful Comedy Debuting Today
Debuting TODAY—Wednesday, July 30—comes the first look at “Twinless”, a dark comedy starring Dylan O’Brien that blends grief, identity, and unexpected connection.
The story centers on Roman (O’Brien), who meets Dennis (James Sweeney) at a support group for twins who’ve lost their siblings. As the two men bond over shared pain and a search for identity, their friendship deepens, spilling out beyond the confines of the group.
Fresh music, bold entertainment, and men’s fashion—one tight email a week.
But the tone turns when Roman encounters Dennis’ joyful co-worker, Marcie (played by Aisling Franciosi). Secrets start unraveling—and the truth behind each man’s past creeps closer to the surface, threatening the very bond they’ve built.
While Roman is straight, his twin brother Rocky was gay. Dylan O’Brien, also straight in real life, revealed he collaborated with the film’s director to create a playful yet purposeful “gay scale” used on set to help navigate scenes and subtext with authenticity and intention.
Co-starring: James Sweeney, Lauren Graham, Aisling Franciosi, Tasha Smith, and Chris Perfetti.
Out nationwide on September 5
