Dua Lipa’s been on tour all year long on her Radical Optimism Tour, and she’s been serving more than just pop perfection. At each and every stop, the pop princess covers a history-making classic artist’s catalogue, turning every city into a tribute stage.
Today’s homage? The seminal, canonical band Blondie—spanning the 1970s, ’80s, and ’90s—with a roaring rendition of ‘One Way or Another.’
Dua Lipa brought it down last night at Madison Square Garden, New York, delivering a cover that had the crowd singing every word. She told the audience:
“Here in New York, I’m actually spoiled with the choice,” continuing, “tonight we thought we could do something [by] a real New York icon…let’s just go for it.”
From the first guitar riff to the final ovation, it was pure NYC magic. Clad in black, Dua and her band leaned into Blondie’s punk-pop legacy with swagger and reverence.

Her Radical Optimism Tour has already featured covers of Aerosmith, AC/DC, Sinead O’Connor, and even international hits like Alizée’s “Moi… Lolita” and Enrique Iglesias’ “Héroe”. But this Blondie moment? A true hometown heroes homage.
