Drew Barrymore attented the 2010 GLAAD Media Awards held at Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel over the weekend in Los Angeles.
Miss Barrymore accepted the 2010 Vanguard Award for increasing visibility and understanding of the gay community. During her acceptance speech, Drew said plenty per usual like this heartfelt quote…“The thing that means the most to me about an evening like this or why I want to fight and be outspoken about (gay rights) is there are so many people who are in desperate need of families,” Drew said. “That is the most important thing in the world: that we take care of each other because this is a family.”
Side note: Drew strutted a pink chiffon Oscar de la Renta gown.
