When your names are Jay-Z & Kanye West, the big guns are surely to come out to play. The Spike Jonze directed video for ‘Otis’ has been released off Jay and Kanye’s upcoming joint album entitled, “Watch the Throne”.
The track ‘Otis’ is built upon a sample of “Try a Little Tenderness” by Soul/R&B legend Otis Redding, which reportedly cost a pretty penny to sample. The cover artwork for the single was also conceived by another big player – fashion designer Riccardo Tisci, who previously designed the artwork for the “H•A•M” single. The american flag inspired cover is also apparent in the music video with Kanye and Jay-Z owning the spotlight directly in front.
