Madonna is reportedly planning to take her children on a trip to Auschwitz later this month.

The 50-year-old pop star/Kaballah obsessed has discussed her plans with close friend Rabbi Berg, and her team is now going through the logistics.

“It won’t be an easy trip but it is an ultimate life affirming experience, and one Madonna — because of her strong Kaballah beliefs — does not want to ignore,” a source tells the Mirror. “She wants her children to appreciate how lucky they are and to learn about mistakes made in the past.”

What ever happened to watching a good ol’ documentary on the History channel, huh?
