Chris Colfer is ready to transition from teen-gleek fame to the silver screen making his debut in “Struck By Lightning”, an indie coming-of-age comedy film.

Chris wrote the script for the film himself, which will commence shooting during next summer’s hiatus from Glee. Variety released a statement saying that the film is in the spirit and vein of the late John Hughes‘ kind of writing. This sounds exciting and quite impressive to me.

If Chris’ portrayal as the big-voiced-humorous-diva on the show Glee is any indication of what type of sharp and witty writing Chris has under his sleeves, than bring it our way. We’re keeping a corner eye out on this one kiddas.
