The ever-bold Germanier returns to the couture stage with “Les Joueuses” — a Fall/Winter 2025 collection that’s equal parts chaotic, sculptural, and joyfully rebellious.
Designer Kevin Germanier leaned into instinct and play, delivering a show bursting with psychedelic textures, balloon silhouettes, and sustainably sourced materials — from recycled Japanese paper to repurposed feathers and production-reject balloons.
Highlights included:
- Signature beaded embroidery elevated with tactile raffia and warped animal prints
- A collaboration with Brazilian artist Gustavo Silvestre, resulting in a standout sculptural raffia dress
- A surprise Hello Kitty balloon dress, merging pop culture with couture craftsmanship
- A finale of quiet precision — a single sculpted gown in recycled paper, stripped of embellishment but rich in intent
Why We Love It:
Because it’s fearless. Because it’s fun. Because it proves that couture can be sustainable, global, and wildly imaginative — all at once. Germanier continues to challenge the rules of high fashion while celebrating individuality, craft, and joy. “Les Joueuses” isn’t just a collection — it’s a mood, a movement, and a masterclass in modern couture.
