1960’s French Actor Alain Delon is shot here during the Summer of 1966 spending some R&R time while in St. Tropez after apparently wrapping 3 films in that same year. On his days off, Mister Delon was photographed by Jean Marie Perier wearing a comfortable outfit that was also elegant and fresh looking all at once. White trousers and a black smart shirt while shoeless and carrying a cig in hand make up this entire look.Apparently 43 years after this photo was shot, it was used on thee advertising campaign of Dior’s famed fragance, “Eau Sauvage”, which was launched in 1966 as well. “Eau Sauvage is a fresh fragance that combines exquisite citric and wood scents with lavender and mint.”
