What is It’s Not You It’s Me?

In 2009, Anthony De La Cruz—writer, stylist, and model—launched It’s Not You It’s Me as a creative sanctuary rooted in music, fashion, art, and culture. What started as a personal blog grew into It’s Not You It’s Me Media: an independent platform built to celebrate originality and honor artists across every medium.

By 2019, the brand expanded into a broader editorial lane spanning fashion, art, music, entertainment, and live events, while staying true to the same core idea: if it’s bold, honest, and made with intention, we’re paying attention.

Why we’re called It’s Not You It’s Me

We’re independent and artist-led—creators celebrating creators. INYIM exists to back the originals—artists who move culture without always getting the credit or the stage they deserve.

“It’s Not You It’s Me” is our shorthand for individuality—artists who stay original, take risks, and don’t blend in. The name is a wink, but the mission is serious: we put the ones who never get their due front and center.
