1990's brilliant sultry pop kitten, Cathy Dennis, is not only moving to the States under a new contract with a new record label, but she's inbound to make her first live appearance in 20 Years at the Mighty Hoopla Festival!
Thee superstar and ginormous hit songwriter shall return to the stage this summer for her first live appearance in 20 years.
Dennis who's musical resume transcends far and beyond. Scoring hits in the early '90s with such yummy tunes as Touch Me (All Night Long) and Just Another Dream. Now Cathy has proclaimed her return to the States and has been added to the bill at this year's Mighty Hoopla festival. She's in groovy company as she mashes with previously announced stars including Bananarama and Samantha Mumba!
Lets also not forget carebears, as well as her own Billboard hits, Cathy has impeccably written juggernaut jams for others, including Kylie Minogue's Can't Get You Out Of My Head, Britney's Toxic, and Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl.
Here's a musique trivia. Cathy's first bug songwriting credit for another artist was with Bumper to Bumper, the B-side to Spice Girls' debut tune Wannabe. Also, in 2008 she intertwined her songwriting abilities with thee equally impressive Mark Ronson.
Cathy will make her triumphant return to the live stage as well marking her 30th anniversary in the music business, having unleashed her debut record in 1989 with the stellar C'mon and Get My Love.
