Way back When | "Sweetwater: A True Rock Story." Movie circa (1999.) A fact-based drama musical where a television producer sets out to find the surviving members of a band that opened at the 1969 Woodstock concert.
Amy Jo Johnson shines as Nansi, the lead singer of Sweetwater, the short-lived psychedelic ensemble that was on a metoric rise. Until virtually disappearing after she was in a terrible car accident that forced her to have a tracheotomy, which ruined her singing voice for years.
Through a series of interviews and flashbacks, the film unravels the mystery surroundings.
We always adored this cult-classic. Due to the uniqueness and unknowingly of it in the zeitgeist. We thought it would be fun seeing all the pieced music scene segments together.
