Wednesday Whimsy |  Rihanna Modestly Acts As Photographer For A Young Soccer Fan Who Doesn’t Recognize Her!

"Rihanna got a break from the camera flashes that usually follow her around when a clueless young soccer fan asked her to get behind the lens recently.

In a newly surfaced video from Manchester City’s match against AC Milan at Yankee Stadium over the weekend, the Fenty mogul poses alongside soccer pros Christian Pulisic, Jack Grealish and Yunus Musah. While chatting with the players afterward, a little boy interrupts to ask for a photo with the group — sans Rih, whom he demotes to camerawoman, seemingly unaware that a billionaire superstar is in his midst.

Luckily, the “We Found Love” singer doesn’t take it as a slight — in fact, she immediately jumps into photographer mode, leaning back on an armchair to get the best angle and directing other kids to get into frame.

The cute moment comes as Rih is as hard at work as ever on her beauty and fashion businesses, recently teasing a new Savage x Fenty campaign on Instagram. Her Fenty Beauty brand is a premium partner of the 2024 Olympics in Paris, which she announced about a week before the Games kicked off with a funny edit, also on Instagram.

There’s still no sign of a new album from the nine-time Grammy winner, though — and as some fans in the replies pointed out, her lack of new music over the past eight years could very well be the reason certain little kids don’t recognize her in person anymore. One fan, for instance, jokingly commented that the boy who snubbed Rih for the soccer players was “in the womb when anti released,” referring to her 2016 Billboard 200-topping album.

Rihanna herself most recently addressed the matter in a hilarious message to GloRilla, a screenshot of which the “TGIF” rapper posted on Instagram: “I know dis wild hypothetical, but when the album drop?”
