"Prince’s award-winning album Purple Rain has finally reached its milestone 40th anniversary this year and with a new book to celebrate. As fans await the stage play adaptation of the hit album, they can also rewatch the Oscar-winning film of the same name — now in 4K definition.
The rock musical is commemorating the major milestone with a special-edition Blu-ray re-release that features the film in 4K Ultra HD quality. The set also includes a digital code that’ll let you watch and stream Purple Rain on your laptop or portable DVD player.
