"James Marsden celebrated half a century with quite the cake!

The Emmy-nominated Jury Duty actor marked his 50th birthday on Monday with a star-studded party thrown by Casamigos that included a cake with a shirtless photo of Marsden from his modeling days.

Marsden shared a black and white snap of himself smiling next to his birthday treat, along with a closeup shot of the white-frosted dessert. He added three clapping hands emojis to signify a job well done.

The photo of Marsden was surrounded by black piping and gold candles, including the numerals 5 and 0. “Happy 50th Birthday JAMES!” was written below.

The Notebook actor also reposted several of his guests’ Instagram Stories of the eye-catching cake, one of which was a video of Marsden blowing out birthday cake candles as party-goers sang “Happy Birthday.”
Funny enough, Marsden’s cake wasn’t the only personalized present he received. He was also gifted a mug with a hilarious collage of his face, as seen on Tessa Thompson’s Instagram Story.

Marsden made sure to thank Casamigos for his party at the Sheats-Goldstein Residence in Los Angeles, which he also showed off on his Instagram Story.

“A huge thank you to @casamigos and @rachelzalis for keeping the party going strong and the drinks flowing late,” he wrote above the snapshot of him happily holding up a drink at the venue’s bar.

After that, the 27 Dresses star posted a photo of “James Birthday Cocktails” list, which featured a cucumber jalapeño margarita, a passion fruit margarita and casa ranch water.

Shake Shack sliders were also served at his birthday bash with wrappers decorated with stickers that “Marsden is 50.”

Among the celebrity guests at Marsden’s 50th birthday celebration were Thompson, Woody Harrelson, Natasha Lyonne, Ben Barnes and Aaron Paul, who could be seen in one photo hugging Marsden while he holds the personalized mug.

Marsden’s Jury Duty costar Ronald Gladden was also at the party.

Following the July announcement of the Freevee show’s four Emmy nominations, including his own for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series, Marsden exclusively told PEOPLE at the time that he first rang Gladden when he heard the news.
