Exploiters Beware! Xscape’s Tamika Scott Says She Got A Temporary Restraining Order Against Sister LaTocha & Husband: ‘I Was Getting Threats.’

Woopsies It's Deserved! Xscape’s Tamika Scott Says She Got A Temporary Restraining Order Against Sister LaTocha & Husband: ‘I Was Getting Threats.’

"The feud between Tamika Scott and her sister LaTocha Scott is far from over.

Tamika sat down with fellow Xscape member Kandi Burruss on her web series Speak On It, where she revealed she had to take out a temporary protective order against her sister and her husband Rocky Bivens.

The 47-year-old singer dished about any chance of the group reuniting and updated fans on things since the ending of their Bravo series, SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B.

She then spilled the tea about the continuous decline of the relationship between her and her sister.

“I’m just [going to] say it. I did a temporary TPO order on my sister and her husband because I was getting threats, I was getting text messages,” she said. “He even said … I lied on him and ‘You don’t do that to me.’ Or ‘You gotta deal with what comes with that.'”

Tamika stated the intimidation made led her to get the courts involved.

“I don’t take certain things lightly. So I did a temporary TPO order and the judge granted it to me,” she said. “Based on the evidence that I presented, I was granted the TPO order on them.”

She then addressed if there was any possibility of reconciliation with her older sister and brother-in-law.

“So when you say ‘Can we get back together,’ it’s a TPO order out because he’s threatening me…The TPO order protects me just in case because [Rocky’s] known to pull sh*t out on people. It protects me and it also protects them because my husband is very quiet. He’s at his wit’s end. It’s not easy,” she said.

Blavity previously reported on the cause of the blow-up between the singing sisters. On the first episode of their six-part Bravo reality series, Tamika accused LaTocha and Bivens of stealing royalty checks from her, adding up to $30,000.

The couple instantly denied it. Bivens even plead his case to blogger Tasha K. He claimed he “would never take money from his sister-in-law” and that the “company got the checks mixed up.”

Tamika then cleared her name and dropped receipts of the alleged theft with an 18-minute video on her YouTube channel, The Real Tamika Scott.

The video showed threatening text messages from unknown numbers about extortion and shared footage of her bandmate, Tiny’s mother speaking about the doctored paperwork and missing checks.
