Let's Go! Disney Shall Unleash Multiple Classic Movies To Theaters.
"In honor of The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary, Disney has announced it will be re-releasing several classic movies to theaters across the country — from the classic 1994 animated film, “The Lion King” to Pixar movies such as “Toy Story” (1995) to live-action films like “Pirates of the Caribbean” starring Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom.Disney has announced that eight different films will be released to select movie theaters across the country.“Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl” (2003) will be released from July 7 through July 20. Starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Kiera Knightly, Disney describes this movie as, “The roguish yet charming Captain Jack Sparrow’s idyllic pirate life capsizes after his nemesis, the wily Captain Barbossa, steals his ship, the Black Pearl, and later attacks the town of Port Royal, kidnapping the governor’s beautiful daughter Elizabeth. In a gallant attempt to rescue her and recapture the Black Pearl, Elizabeth’s childhood friend Will Turner joins forces with Jack.What Will doesn’t know is that a cursed treasure has doomed Barbossa and his crew to live forever as the undead.”From July 21 through August 3, fans can watch the Disney-Pixar classic “Toy Story” in select theaters. Pixar describes the film as, “Led by Woody, Andy’s toys live happily in his room until Andy’s birthday brings Buzz Lightyear onto the scene. Afraid of losing his place in Andy’s heart, Woody plots against Buzz. But when circumstances separate Buzz and Woody from their owner, the duo eventually learns to put aside their differences.” The film stars Tom Hanks as Woody and Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear.“Frozen” starring Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, and Jonathan Groff, will be re-released to theaters from August 4 through August 17. Disney describes this movie as, “Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.”Next up will be “Beauty and the Beast” (1991), which will play in select theaters from August 18 through August 31. Disney describes this classic animated film as, “Be our guest and join the beloved, independent Belle and the Beast with the soul of a prince as they cast an enchanting spell like never before. Disney’s beloved modern classic, the first animated feature film in the history of the Oscars nominated for Best Picture (1991).
