INYIM Media Corner Chat: W/ Honey The Cat’s Expensive $5400 Wardrobe

"Some people are very proud of their wardrobes filled with the latest fashions and fads (don’t look at mine. It’s about as old and holey as the Vatican). I mean, there are whole TikTok and Instagram genres dedicated to showing off fast fashion hauls, and retro thrifting buys. But all those people pale in comparison to the fabulous Honey. While you sit there eating chips directly from the bag in your knockoff Zara pajamas, this cat’s wardrobe is filled with Louis Vuitton bags and Chanel accessories! We’ve all been out-fashioned by a cat.

Honey is a rescue cat who was adopted by Nicole Wade. Nicole thought that Honey deserved the Pretty Woman treatment and has bought her feline friend around $5400 worth of clothes. No longer stuck in a shelter, Honey’s life is now modeling for her legions of fans. via Newsweek:

Honey, the rescue cat, is the purr-fect example of rags to riches. She was once cooped up in a shelter for rescued pets and now she has her own bedroom and a designer wardrobe.

Her owner, Nicole Wade, 37, told Newsweek that Honey has two miniature wardrobes filled with $5,400 worth of clothing—including designer items from brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, and Tiffany & Co.

Wade, a content creator, said: “Honey was rescued from a local shelter in Melbourne, Australia, in January 2020 after we lost a newly adopted kitten to a fatal illness.

“She’s always enjoyed dressing up and loves the attention she gets when we are filming videos or taking pictures. “She’s so sweet and we are always in awe of how well she wears her outfits—it’s like she knows she’s a superstar.”

Nicole posted a video of Honey’s bedroom which gave viewers a look into the life of the rich and famous.

I hope Honey likes pink because that’s basically Barbie’s Dreamhouse. And if that’s not enough, here’s a look at some of her thousand-dollar looks:"  - Dlisted.com

The only thing missing from these videos is Robin Leach narrating what Honey does all day and how much her hairballs are worth. Lucky Honey! Now I’m not a clothing person, but if someone wants to adopt me and buy me fashionable clothes so that I can be like Honey, I won’t object!" - Dlisted.com
