Shameless Show Cutie Actor Cameron Monaghan To Get His Own Star Wars Series At Disney+
"Is Cameron Monaghan about to get his own Star Wars Disney+ series?The good folks over at SWNN certainly seem to think so. They recently released a report with contained speculation that Monaghan, who played the lead character of Cal Kestis in “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order” and the upcoming sequel, “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor” is going to get his own Disney+ series.After starring in the video games, it is certainly possible that Monaghan is going to get his own Disney+ series to flesh out Cal’s story a bit more. Cal was introduced in the “Jedi: Fallen Order” video game as a Jedi Padawan who hid on the planet of Bracca. After he uses his Force abilities to save his friend’s life, both Empirical Inquisitors and a group of Jedi sympathizers find Cal and he manages to escape the planet.Most of the game focuses on Cal coming to terms with what happened and trying to find a way to rebuild a Jedi Order and keep survivors safe from the Empire.Their correspondent, Kristian Harloff, said he was approached with a rumor from a source that he trusts. However, Harloff led with a clear disclaimer: “Rumor, rumor, rumor… Have to say that – not confirmed!”“The rumor itself, at the moment, is that there is a Cal Kestis show in the works for Disney Plus. The rumor is that [the actor Cameron Monaghan has] actually signed on to play the character from Jedi: Fallen Order in a live-action series for Disney Plus,” Harloff continued. “There are no production dates set, but my source tells me that this is happening.”It makes sense that, if there was a Disney+ series based on Cal Kestis in the works, Monaghan would be tapped to play him, since
