Carly Rae Jepsen's Legendary “Call Me Maybe,” Turns 10 Y.O.! Dig Out Her Re-Issue As An Old Lady Illustration To Celebrate The Anniversary.

"Carly Rae Jepsen is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of her smash-hit single, "Call Me Maybe." In honor of the song launching her music career, Jepsen decided to pay homage to its success on Monday (Sept. 20) by breathing new life into the single's cover art.

In a photo set, the singer shared two new versions of her posing for the "Call Me Maybe" cover: One image is of her current self with cropped platinum blonde hair, a beige shawl, and mustard colored heels. A second photo shows her as an old woman with gray hair, glasses, a knitted shawl and crochet essentials.

"It’s been 10 years since 'Call Me Maybe' and this is how that makes me feel. Shout out to OG photographer @Vanessaheins for shooting all three covers. Future, present and past!" Jepsen wrote on Instagram.

"Call Me Maybe" is still hailed as Jepsen's signature hit. The song was first released in September 2011 as a single off her Curiosity EP, and later went on to be one of the defining pop songs of the 2010s. The song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 in March 2012, where it peaked at No. 1 for nine consecutive weeks; it spent 50 weeks on the chart. The smash brought Jepsen two Grammy nominations: song of the year and best pop solo performance.

"Call Me Maybe" also served as the lead single from Jepsen's second studio album, 2012's Kiss, which peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Jepsen is also commemorating the 10-year anniversary of "Call Me Maybe" by doing a Twitter Q&A session at 6 p.m. ET to speak with fans on the social media platform and discuss the album
