Super-Pop Extraordinaire & New Mommy, Meghan Trainor Is Set To Star In Her First Sitcom As Part Of NBC Deal!

"Meghan Trainor has teamed up with NBCUniversal Television and Streaming Entertainment for a unique overall deal, which includes a new comedy series.

The cross-platform collaboration with the company opens the door for the Grammy-winning singer's potential scripted and unscripted projects across the network, cable, streaming and syndicated programming and throughout NBCU's larger portfolio, which includes NBC, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, Universal Kids, USA and Peacock.

Trainor will star in and help develop the new sitcom, the first project under the deal, although no concept or writers have been attached to the upcoming series. Her TV résumé includes voicing characters in the animated films Smurfs: The Lost Village and Playmobil: The Movie, as well as serving as a judge on Fox's The Four: Battle for Stardom and The Voice UK.
