Zara Larsson has unleashed one of thee best musique videos of 2020. Now Zara is shake rattle and rolling out a string of stellar live promo performances in support of it.
First up is a smokin' appearance at Sweden's longest music festival held at Gröna Lund! Zara set ablaze performing an electrifying new version of "Love Me Land".
She followed that by an even sweeter version of her current single strutting by ABC's infamous Good Morning America. Zara said on the program her upcoming new record is influenced by ABBA.
Who are fellow Swedes and happen to be one of the greatest pop groups of all time. There 1980's hit “Lay All Your Love on Me” specifically inspired thee dance tune, “Love Me Land,” saying the following:
“When I started listening to ABBA again, I’m just like … Hold on, they have hits on hits on hits on hits … and even if they would release them now they would still. They’re timeless, their melodies and what they’re saying, it’s so unique and fun.” She continued:
"For this album, I’ve just listened to how they make their songs, what comes after the verse, how to structure the songs, basically, because it’s a little freeer, I guess, than most of the pop songs today.”
She also added that the song is about taking a chance at loving again after having difficult experiences: “It’s about taking that step of maybe having been in a relationship, and then it wasn’t what you wanted it to be, or you broke up and it hurt really bad and you think.
I don’t really want to be in that situation again. So you protect yourself and think I’m not going to put myself in a vulnerable spot, but feeling that lovey dovey feeling is the best feeling in the world.”
Finally she wrapped up her weekend promotional caravan capping off at MOMA TV with an acoustic version of Love Me Land! Wait no further musique-bots.
