We hold a very special treasure trove of what we like to call, "favorite-favorite all-time favorites." It's basically a holy trinity list of pioneering-incomparable artists that are innately born with that extra pizzaz, that unique it-factor. One of those diety names is vocal prodigy Christina Aguilera and all around innovative artist. After a nearly 6 year strenuous wait, the genie is finally out of the bottle!
So this edition of our prestigious list of "Album Spin" is an extra prestigious one. Xtina just dropped a brilliantly visceral, and most urban mid-uptempo record of her career. Like the last 10 years, dip below and dig out the list of what we believe to be the most genius tracks off Liberation. Less is more? More is a bore? Whatever thee intention behind this record was, one thing for damn sure it's enchanting, it is cohesive and its an obvious conceptual body of work rather than a singles searching album.
There's no real radio-ready track but instead sheds a lighthouse of where Christina has been both emotionally and mentally as of late. Ethereal and at times provocative. Venturing into moody experimental r&b hip-hip reggae beats with pulsating instrumental interludes and live sonics. You'll find Christina singing at her most happy-go-lucky self.
There are no real dance tunes but groove tunes. Her innately gifted lyrical rhymes and authentic powerful presence is ready to take center stage and dominance once again. Christina Aguilera‘s long-awaited new record is the successor to 2012’s stellarly magical ‘Lotus’. Introduced by the unique rapper Ty Dolla $ign-assisted ‘Accelerate,’ the beautiful ballad ‘Twice’ and of course the already iconic official lead single ‘Fall In Line’ featuring Demi Lovato.
