She enlists the likes of Jamie XX, Blondie, and Prince as inspirations. Her debut tune entitled “In My Head,” has got our musical paws in the air, dipping and doing it alongside to this bubble pop electric jam. Unleashed via HeavyRoc Music, an indie record label, "In My Head" has a far-out bombastic musique video to accompany it.
The video is directed by The Knocks' Ben Ruttner, where the songstress depicts a pulsating tea party scene a la Alice in Wonderland, substituting the tea with some bottle service. While the Mad Hatter, a gang of BRATZ dolls, all make an appearance in this bold and powerful number.
Blu has said in a public statement how she views her new musical offering and her matching aesthetic describing herself as: “child-like imagination and innocence with a twist. A song one that all my friends could spin in their sets.”
