Ice Cube Struts His Groovy New Song ‘That New Funkadelic’ With The Roots On Jimmy Fallon!

Ice Cube served up a tutti-frutti rockin' funktastic performance with the legendary Roots to unleash a stellar performance of his smashing new single “That New Funkadelic.” A tune off the rapper’s just-released record entitled "Everythang’s Corrupt". On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Ice Cube said the following during his interview portion of the segment about the new single:

“It’s an homage to one of my favorite artists in the world, George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic. With songs like 'Arrest The President', I also just wanted to highlight some of the things we should change and fix. We can’t keep going down this road.” Ice Cube spilled to Jimmy Fallon.

Ice Cube has previously sampled George Clinton’s musique over the past decades. On notable tunes  like “Bop Gun (One Nation)” (which featured Clinton), “Dirty Mack” and “Steady Mobbin’.”

Ice Cube accompanied by the Roots and a stellarly colorful dressed backup singers,a nod to the Parliament Funk’s outrageously beautiful ensembles!

"Everythang’s Corrupt " is Ice Cube’s first record since 2010’s "I Am the West", and in almost a decade, the rapper is still Straight Outta Compton but with a whole lotta wisdom and yummy funk!
