Every Bruno Mars Music Video From 2010 to Today: Watch His Evolution

It's a past blast! Let's go back into the future celebrated the one and only current living King of Pop Bruno Mars and his musique video evolution:

"This week, Billboard is taking a look back at the music video evolution of Bruno Mars, beginning with 2010’s “Nothin’ On You” all the way through to his 2018 Cardi B collaboration “Finesse (Remix).”

After Mars made his debut music video appearance in B.o.B.’s “Nothin’ On You,” he teamed up with Travie McCoy for “Billionaire,” as the pair drove around town committing generous deeds, dreaming about being wealthy. Plus, Pete Wentz made a small cameo on the back of McCoy’s scooter. The year 2010 continued to be full of collaborations, as Mars once again joined forces with B.o.B., as well as Cee Lo Green, for “The Other Side.”

That same year, “Just the Way You Are” took an extremely creative approach of utilizing a cassette tape’s film to impressively animate various images of Mars, his love interest and musical instruments throughout, while also reminding us just how annoying cassette tapes were when the film got loose.

The year 2010 also saw the release of “Grenade,” which followed the singer as he dragged a piano on a rope across a city. In a video capturing the making of “Grenade,” the singer explained that with the concept, he sought to capture his struggle to tell a girl that he would do anything for her. “I'm going as far as dragging a piano to get to her just so I can sing my heart out,” he said.

The following year, Mars dropped “Liquor Store Blues” with Damian Marley, and then he danced around in his underwear with the chimpanzee mask-wearing dance crew Poreotics in "The Lazy Song."

In 2012, Mars hopped on “Mirror” with Lil Wayne and went retro with his “Locked Out of Heaven” visuals, while 2013 saw the release of “When I Was Your Man,” “Treasure,” and the Freida Pinto-starring “Gorilla.”

Mars and Mark Ronson joined forces in 2014 for the unforgettable dance-driven, brass-heavy “Uptown Funk,” which is currently the fifth most-viewed video on YouTube. That was followed by 2016’s “24K Magic,” which captured a night of flashy partying in Vegas, 2017’s “That’s What I Like,” which elevated his already enviable dance moves with some perfectly placed animations, and the Zendaya-starring “Versace on the Floor.”

The final stop on Bruno Mars’ music video evolution – for now – is 2018’s “Finesse” remix with Cardi B, which payed a very colorful homage to In Living Color and basically all things 90s.
