Eva Ruiz was born in Bogota, Colombia and moved to Miami as a little nugget. She since came of age and became a self-taught artist producing art and experimental fun with multiple mediums such as porcelain, collage, jewelry, and others. Fast forward to today, Ruiz is signed to Warner Music Spain and has described in the following what inspires her artistry::
