BBC Sparks New David Bowie Documentary "The First Five Years"

BBC has sparked a nuevo documentary unveiling David Bowie's pre-Ziggy Stardust era. Entitled "David Bowie: The First Five Years." The upcoming aesthetics finished a trilogy directed by Francis Whately. It continues 2017’s David Bowie: The Last Five Years and 2013’s David Bowie: Five Years. The final installment. It has a tentative date release for next year.

Taking place in 1966, Bowie changed his name from David Jones, and according to a press release, the doc features unheard audio recordings and unpublished documents, including yummy interviews with friends and collaborators.

It includes tea spilling from Bowie’s cousin Kristina Amadeus and former girlfriend Hermione Farthingale, neither of whom have disclosed info before about the icon on camera. Among the uncovered documents is a largely no so great report but hilariously ironic 1965 report by BBC’s Talent Selection Group on an early audition Bowie gave the network. It features that audition’s drummer Phil Lancaster reading the audition report for the first time. BBC called Bowie’s performance “devoid of personality,” “not particularly exciting,” and “amateur.”

To call Bowie those things is like Trump calling Obama a less than charismatic and great president. But knock an original down nine times but we get up ten, yes sir!
