It's The Band Lord Huron Yall!

Allow us gals and gents to re-introduce you again, as a spritzer, thee LA-based American indie folk band Lord Huron. If you recall, the boy's debut record "Lonesome Dreams" was unleashed back in 2012  and they have since dropped a sophomore album which spun around our vinyl needle but now it is their nuevo third full-length album, “Vide Noir,” the one that has our gandering rock n roll eyes on lockdown! Our concrete jungles of Los Angeles' nightlife has served as a motivational and inspirational motif for the record. Founding member lead singer-songwriter Ben Schneider had this to say...

“My nighttime drives ranged all over the city — across the twinkling grid of the Valley, into the creeping shadows of the foothills, through downtown’s neon canyons and way out to the darksome ocean.” Taking a cosmic angle on things, Ben continued, “I started imagining ‘Vide Noir’ as an epic odyssey through the city, across dimensions, and out into the cosmos. A journey along the spectrum of human experience. A search for meaning amidst the cold indifference of The Universe.”

The stellar new tune that's got our rock roll hearts jumpin' like a jukebox jamboree is entitled, “Ancient Names (Part 1).” There is a “(Part 2)” but we can sidestep right pass that track. Allow us to do what we do best, breaking records like these that breathe a grip, so hard, making your eyes glare, you feel all charged up. It's that kind of rock tune whether its a 60's psychedelic tune, 70s classic, 80s new wave/90s grunge post alternative or 21century The Strokes/Franz Ferdinand that has got our perfect cup of tea stirring! This will surely make you wanna get your most stupendous leather studded kissed ensemble and go racin' through the moonlight at 3 am holding tight, maybe a tad too lit, but a real authentic wild time nonetheless.

Schneider and his mates include percussionist Mark Barry, bassist Miguel Briseño, and guitarist Tom Renaud. The new album unleashes April 20th on Whispering Pines/Republic Records!
